Warehouse Manager

Desired Similar Management Experience:

  • 2 years.
  • Prior AV Staging industry experience is a plus but not required
  • This position is a high involvement, high-energy, hands-on managerial role

Skill requirements:

  • The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for establishing processes to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and return within daily warehouse operations. These policies will include items like driver & staff scheduling, Inventory fulfillment processes, Inventory return processes, and other daily activities in which accuracy is critical to compliance.
  • The Warehouse Manager is responsible to implement procedures to ensure appropriate quality controls on equipment and inventory entering and leaving our warehouse operation. This role will include ensuring equipment is properly returned into inventory, cleaned, repaired or removed from inventory as necessary.
  • The Warehouse Manager will be required, with the help of the rest of the Leadership Team, to develop policies governing warehouse operations. These policies should include items like dress code, safety, and other items identified through your expertise and experience.
  • The Warehouse Manager will be required, with the help of the rest of the Leadership Team, to develop processes governing behavior in the warehouse operation. These processes should include the training of new hires, ensuring the accountability of drivers, quality control, accuracy, warehouse layout and flow planning, and any other processes important to the successful execution of warehouse operations.

For all of the above requirements, it will be the Warehouse Manager’s responsibility to document the processes and changes developed, in conjunction with the leadership team, into a format that becomes the handbook and operations manual for warehouse operations.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with FLEX Inventory Management System, or similar digital inventory management software, a plus
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Ability to manage schedules and people in a fun, energetic environment
  • Computer Skills to include Excel, Word, and other Mac and/or Windows Applications
  • Ability to think strategically and long term
  • Basic project management
  • Excellent personal time management
  • Basic carpentry and mechanical skills a plus

Pay will be commensurate with experience.


Logistics Manager

Molecular media is currently looking to hire a Logistics Manager. This is a full-time position. Expected hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm, with on-call availability on weekends and evenings as necessary to take calls and problem solve.

Skill requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience with the execution of logistics in the national touring live audio-visual production industry.
  • A Class B License to allow pick up and return of trucks from local rental vendors
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to schedule and route drivers and trucks with precise timing

The following skills are desired:

  • Reasonable working knowledge base of DOT rules and regulations, including filing of all DOT documents with a 3rd party processing service
  • Experience with driver-related drug testing, insurance tracking and DOT filing
  • Experience and familiarity with standard practices of truck rental companies such as Penske and Ryder
  • Experience and relationships with national expedited freight and LTL vendors
  • Experience with air freight rules & regulations
  • Able to find and qualify new drivers
  • Manage a growing fleet of vehicles, to include cleaning, maintenance, tags and DOT requirements
  • Tracking and reconciling of end logistics costs on a project by project basis

Pay will be commensurate with experience.
