  1. What information do you collect, how is it collected and how do you use it?

Users of Molecular Media mobile applications can create social profiles that display their Job Title, Company, Links to Profiles on Public Social Networking Sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), and Activity. In addition, users can fill out a free form, “About Me” text box.

This information is displayed on a profile page within the app, accessible to other users of the same app via Search, Activity Feed, and User Directory. These profiles are ONLY accessible to users of the same app; in other words, each Molecular Media mobile application is a silo in which data is kept separate from other Molecular Media mobile applications.

Email address is collected upon signup, customer import, or event registration, but is never displayed publicly in the app.

In addition, users of our mobile applications are able to “Check In” to or rate various objects within the applications. These objects might include agenda sessions, exhibitors, speakers, and locations. These “check-ins” and ratings are posted in the activity feeds of the mobile application, but are not accessible to users of other Molecular Media mobile applications.

In addition, customers of Molecular Media may choose to prepopulate a Molecular Media mobile application with objects such as conference agendas, customer lists, exhibitor lists, and more. This information is only shared with end users of the mobile application, and never shared with any third party, or made available to end users of other Molecular Media mobile applications.

We plan that, from time to time, we will provide certain companies with aggregated user or behavioral information, but this will NOT contain any individual information. We will NOT give advertisers or anyone else personal information about end users without specific authorization to do so, except as specifically described in this Privacy Policy.

Of course, notwithstanding anything in this policy to the contrary, we will provide personal information if we are or believe that we are legally required to do so pursuant to a subpoena, warrant, other legal method or applicable law.

We will post those changes prominently so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone. If we are going to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via e-mail. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our web site notifying users of the change. 4. What kind of security measures do you take?

Any information end users provide, other than information end users chose to provide and make publicly available in your posts, is maintained and accessible only by us, and only by those of our employees with a need to have access to such information in the performance of their work. This site has instituted commercially reasonable security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control or in our possession. All data stores are held behind a commercial grade firewall and are only enabled through an encrypted multi-protocol pipe. All open ports and protocols have been closed on the Web servers excluding http, https, and outbound smtp mail. In addition, all user accounts are restricted to specific algorithms noting both length and complexity. Unfortunately, data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be totally secure. Therefore, although we take measures, such as those described in this Privacy Policy, to protect end user personal information, we cannot warrant the security of information that end users provide. Accordingly, you agree that you are providing such information at your own risk.
